Botox in Graz

← Back to treatments

Botulinum toxin – commonly known as Botox – selectively relaxes the muscles that cause expression lines. The aim of my treatments is never a frozen face, but a rested, natural expression in which your mimicry is fully preserved.

Who is this treatment for?

For adults who want to smooth lines caused by facial movement, or prevent them from deepening. Whether treatment makes sense and at what dosage is something we discuss during your personal consultation.

When is it not suitable?

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, and if there is an infection in the treatment area. We go through all of this calmly beforehand.

How does the treatment work?

Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation – analysis, an honest assessment and full information. After analysing your facial movement, small amounts of the active substance are injected into the relevant muscles using a very fine needle. Anaesthesia is usually not necessary.

Possible side effects

Minor redness or swelling at the injection sites usually subsides within a few hours. Occasionally a small bruise or mild headache may occur on the day of treatment. I explain all risks personally beforehand.

Products used

I work exclusively with botulinum toxin preparations approved in Austria from established manufacturers.

Lip flip – the gentle lip treatment

With a lip flip, a very small amount of botulinum toxin is placed above the upper lip. The muscle relaxes, the upper lip rolls slightly outwards and therefore appears more visible – without any volume being added. The lip does not become larger; it simply shows more of itself. The effect lasts around two to three months and is particularly suited to lips that almost disappear when you smile, or to a cautious first treatment. From € 120. Lip filler or lip flip? Frequently asked questions

Will people be able to tell I've had treatment?

With the right technique the face doesn't look treated – just rested. Your natural expression is fully preserved.

Is the treatment painful?

The injections with a very fine needle feel like small pinpricks. Most patients find the treatment easily tolerable.

How far in advance of an important event should I book?

Plan weddings, photo shoots or holidays at least three to four weeks after treatment – by then the result is fully developed.

What happens if I don't have a follow-up treatment?

The effect wears off naturally after a few months and muscle activity returns completely. There is no rebound effect.
