Biostimulators in Graz

← Back to treatments

Biostimulators do not simply fill – they prompt your skin to produce new collagen itself. The result develops over weeks and therefore looks particularly natural: your skin works for itself.

Durationapprox. 30–45 min
Results visiblebuilding up over 4–12 weeks
Longevity12 months and longer
Downtimemild swelling possible for 1–2 days
Analysing facial structure before a biostimulator treatment
The face is analysed as a whole beforehand – the effect comes from your own collagen.

Who is this treatment for?

For adults where the quality of the tissue rather than a single line is the focus – often from the mid-thirties, when the body's own collagen production noticeably declines. Usually two to three sessions four to six weeks apart.

When is it not suitable?

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active infections in the treatment area, and with certain autoimmune conditions.

How does the treatment work?

Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation – analysis, an honest assessment and full information. After analysis and consultation the product – diluted according to the goal – is placed across the relevant skin layers using a blunt cannula. Collagen formation begins in the following weeks.

Possible side effects

Redness, swelling and bruising are possible and temporary. I explain rarer risks such as nodule formation personally; correct technique and product choice are decisive here.

Radiesse, Sculptra and Profhilo Structura compared

Hyperdiluted Radiesse

Hyperdiluted Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite) is heavily diluted and distributed across the tissue. It primarily improves skin density and firmness and often shows a visible effect within a few weeks.

Sculptra

Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) works more slowly but particularly durably: it stimulates collagen formation over months and is suited to more widespread loss of volume and structure.

Profhilo Structura

Profhilo Structura combines hydration with a structuring effect and is a gentle option when skin quality is the main concern.

Which preparation – or which combination – makes sense for you is something we decide together after a skin analysis during the consultation.

Products used

I work with hyperdiluted Radiesse, with Sculptra and with Profhilo Structura. These three are alternatives to one another rather than complements: which one suits you is decided together after a skin analysis.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from hyaluronic acid fillers?

Fillers add volume immediately. Biostimulators stimulate your own collagen production – the result comes more slowly but builds from the tissue itself.

Which product is right for me?

Hyperdiluted Radiesse works on skin density and firmness, often with visible results within a few weeks. Sculptra builds structure more slowly but especially durably. Profhilo Structura combines hydration with a structuring effect.

When will I see the result?

First effects after a few weeks, the full result after around two to three months.

Is anything visible immediately?

Directly after treatment mild swelling can give a preview, which settles within one to two days. The real result builds up afterwards.
