Skin boosters are hyaluronic acid treatments without a shaping effect: they add moisture and structure rather than volume. The skin is hydrated from within and appears plumper, smoother and more rested – skincare at a medical level.
Who is this treatment for?
For anyone who wants to improve skin quality without changing facial contours – from the first signs of dehydration to mature skin. Profhilo is typically built up over two sessions four weeks apart.
When is it not suitable?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active skin infections, and with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid preparations.
How does the treatment work?
Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation – analysis, an honest assessment and full information. With Profhilo the product is injected at defined points, from where it spreads across the tissue. Classic skin boosters are placed in many small depots. Both treatments are quick and well tolerated.
Possible side effects
Small bumps or redness may appear at the injection points and usually disappear within hours, at most a day. Small bruises are possible.
