Two different routes
Skin boosters deliver hyaluronic acid into the skin. They act as a moisture reservoir: the skin binds more water and therefore appears plumper and smoother. The effect is noticeable comparatively quickly.
Polynucleotides fill nothing. They encourage the cells to work more actively again – the skin improves its quality through its own effort. This takes longer, but is regenerative rather than volumising.
When is which treatment appropriate?
Skin boosters are usually the first choice for dry, crêpey skin on the face, neck or décolleté, and when a visible freshening effect is wanted within a manageable timeframe.
Polynucleotides are particularly suited to thin, weakened skin and to the delicate eye area, where classic fillers are often not the right choice. They are also a good option for skin that has had a lot of sun exposure over the years.

Can they be combined?
Yes. The two approaches complement each other well: polynucleotides improve the foundation, skin boosters provide moisture. In practice I combine them regularly – adapted to the condition of the skin and the available timeframe.
