Beautiful lips are not necessarily large lips. Lip augmentation with hyaluronic acid is about proportion, contour and balance – matched to your features, not to a trend.

Who is this treatment for?
For adults who would like fuller or more defined lips and expect a natural result. During the consultation we discuss openly what suits your face – and what I would not recommend.
When is it not suitable?
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active cold sores or other infections around the lips, and with certain pre-existing conditions. If you are prone to cold sores, preventive medication may be advisable.
How does the treatment work?
Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation – analysis, an honest assessment and full information. After the consultation the lip area is prepared with numbing cream. Injection is performed with a fine needle in small steps, with continuous checking of symmetry. You see the result immediately – the final shape appears once the swelling has settled.
Possible side effects
Swelling is more common on the lips than in other areas and usually settles within one to three days. Bruising is possible. I explain all further risks during the consultation.

Frequently asked questions
Will my lips look unnatural?
No – that is exactly what I avoid. I work in small steps and follow your natural proportions.
How much will my lips swell?
Directly after treatment the lips are usually somewhat swollen. Most of it settles within 24–48 hours; judge the result after about a week.
Can I start with 1 ml – or less?
Yes. Especially the first time, a gradual build-up is often the better route. More can always be added later.
What if I don't like the result?
Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. This is rarely needed, but it is a reassuring safety option.
