Hyaluronic Acid Fillers in Graz

← Back to treatments

Hyaluronic acid is a substance the body produces itself; it binds moisture and gives the skin structure. Used as a filler, it can replace lost volume, soften folds and harmonise facial features – always based on an individual analysis of the whole face.

Durationapprox. 30–45 min
Results visibleimmediately, final result after about 2 weeks
Longevity9–18 months depending on product and area
Downtimemild swelling possible, 1–3 days
Hyaluronic acid treatment around the brow
Treatment is based on an analysis of the whole face – not a single line.

Who is this treatment for?

For adults who want to compensate for age-related volume loss or harmonise individual areas of the face. During the consultation we analyse your face as a whole – not just one line.

When is it not suitable?

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, with active skin infections in the treatment area, with certain autoimmune conditions, and with known hypersensitivity to the product's components.

How does the treatment work?

Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation – analysis, an honest assessment and full information. After analysis and consultation the area is disinfected and, if needed, prepared with numbing cream. Most modern fillers also contain a local anaesthetic. Injection is performed with a fine needle or a blunt cannula, depending on the region.

Possible side effects

Swelling, redness and bruising are possible and usually settle within a few days. As with any injectable treatment there are rarer risks. I explain these calmly and clearly during the consultation so you can decide well informed – and I remain available to you after the treatment.

Products used

I use exclusively CE-certified hyaluronic acid fillers from established manufacturers, matched to the region and tissue.

Frequently asked questions

Can hyaluronic acid be dissolved again?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase – an important safety aspect of this treatment.

Will the result look natural?

That is my standard. I work step by step and with restraint – I would rather see you for a second appointment than overcorrect.

How soon can I go back to work?

Usually straight away. Mild swelling or small bruises can be covered with make-up.

Filler or Botox – what do I need?

Botox treats lines caused by movement; fillers replace volume and soften static folds. They often complement each other – we clarify this during the consultation.
