Does it hurt? Pain and anaesthesia

The honest answer

You will feel something – these are injections. But modern aesthetic medicine has several layers of pain control, and most patients are surprised by how manageable the treatments are.

What options are there for numbing?

Needle or cannula – what is the difference?

The sharp needle is precise for pinpoint injections. The blunt cannula is guided through a single entry point and pushes tissue and vessels aside instead of piercing them – which often means fewer bruises and less swelling. Which technique suits which area depends on the region and the goal; I choose it individually for every treatment.

How do the individual treatments feel?

What can you do yourself?

Arrive relaxed and well rested, eat something beforehand, avoid time pressure. And say so during the treatment if something is uncomfortable – we can pause at any point.
