What is it and what is it for?
In mesotherapy, individually composed cocktails of active ingredients – vitamins, amino acids, minerals and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid – are delivered directly into the upper layers of the skin through many fine micro-injections. Where creams cannot reach. The result: hydrated, revitalised skin with a fresh glow.
How does the treatment work?
After cleansing and optional numbing cream, many superficial micro-injections are placed across the treatment area. The session takes around 20 to 30 minutes and most patients find it easily tolerable.
When will you see the result?
A fresher complexion often shows within a few days; the full effect builds over a course – usually three to four sessions two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance as needed.
What should you expect afterwards?
- Small papules and redness at the injection sites – lasting a few hours to one day
- Occasionally tiny bruises
What to bear in mind
- For 24 hours: no make-up, no exercise, no sauna, no sunbed
- Sun protection in the following days
Who is it not suitable for?
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, infections or active skin conditions in the treatment area, and known allergies to the ingredients – we discuss the composition beforehand.
Good to know
Mesotherapy is not a volume treatment – it is skincare at a medical level. Ideal as a complement to other treatments, or as a gentle introduction to aesthetic medicine.
